NORTHERN LITES Race Elite – snowshoes for racing, running & ultra competitions in variable snow conditions

Not all races are held on packed and groomed trails.  When the course conditions are softer and deeper, you may need more flotation than the typical racing snowshoe.  Modeled after the popular Elite Snowshoe, the Northern Lites Elite Race offers almost 30% more surface area for improved flotation.  With the addition of a lighter frame, and our standard Race binding and cleats, this racing model weighs 8 ounces less than the standard Elite.  The Elite Race may be ordered with the traditional Northern Lites TruTrak binding system or the new Northern Lites Speed Binding when you need the ultimate convenience for getting your snowshoes on and off quickly.
