Looking for a canoe that’s….Easy to portage, Extremely stable & Very durable?

The Aspen 16 is an incredible lake & river expedition canoe. The spacious dimensions of the hull allows for paddler comfort. Easy carrying of substantial loads with increased stability. This hull holds good speed and maneuverability in both lake and river conditions. Paddlers will feel confident that they will have a comfortable & stable trip in this canoe.

Our Aspen 16 was designed & hand crafted under the watchful eyes of Andrew Phillips, a leader in the composite manufacturing industry & avid canoeist with years of paddling experience.

Large floor area disperses weight of paddlers & gear, so canoe DOESN’T sit deep in water = Better Speed + Manoeuvrability

The Aspen 16 expedition canoe often appears heavier than other brands, but ours is physically larger in total size, wider + deeper than traditional 16′ canoes. Check out the modest weights below & you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Paddlers will enjoy everything from calm lakes to flowing rivers to whitewater trips in the great outdoors.
